Thomas Gallagher is a Brooklyn* based interdisciplinary artist with 30+ years of experience in graphic design and motion graphics. A peacemaker, dancer, organizer & activist; his interdisciplinary experience engenders understanding and openness, helping him recognize connections and common cause where others see only polarization.
Thomas recently produced / facilitated three new site specific Brooklyn iterations of his participatory public art project Lingo Bingo, for Bay Ridge in conjunction with the Stand4 Gallery group show Essential Shore / Permeable Future; in Sunset Park for Car Free Earth Day and in Crown Heights for Summer Streets, both in conjunction with NYC DOT. He choreographed and performed the outdoor site-specific dance piece Welcome Here for the Woodside Dance Project in 2024, and revisited the piece in 2025 with a new production (Bienvenidos Aqui) at La Plaza de Las Americas for NYC Summer Streets. He was invited to contribute to the project Sunflower Variations – this is Ukraine | Варіації Sоняшника – це Україна by KS Lack and Introspective Collective. He writes at his blog The Missing Point.
